Antonique Smith was born August 11, 1983 in East Orange, New Jersey. She is an American Broadway, film and television actress, and a Grammy nominated singer and songwriter. Antonique Smith first role was given to her by  the legendary Sidney Lumet who gave Antonique her first job to portray the role of a teen drug addict. Antonique Smith is well known for her starring as Mimi in Jonathan Larson’s Broadway production of Rent. She was also the poster girl for Rent, displayed on taxi cabs in NYC and posters across the country. Antonique Smith left the role of Mimi in the musical Rent on Broadway to record her album and expand her film career. In the same year she played Ola O’ Hara in the film “Yelling To The Sky”, opposite Zoe Kravitz and Gabourey Sidibe.  had a featured role in the Golden Globe nominated film “Across The Universe” and has also guest starred on numerous hit TV shows including Law & Order, HBO’s Bored To Death and the Sidney Lumet directed “100 Centre Street” on A&E.

Carmen Ejogo was born on 1973 in Kensington, London, England, to a Nigerian father and a Scottish mother. Carmen Ejogo is a British actress and singer.grew up in London. Carmen Elizabeth Ejogo television career began in the UK in the early 1990s, where she presented the children’s series Saturday Disney (1990). She subsequentlyhas had an acting career in the US. She has appeared in  Metro with Eddie Murphy, What’s the Worst That Could Happen? (2001) with Martin Lawrence, and Love’s Labour’s Lost (2000) with Kenneth Branagh, among other films, and also presented The Carmen Ejogo Video Show her own video show on BSB’s Power Station channel. She starred as Thomas Jefferson’s slave concubine in the television drama Sally Hemings: An American Scandal (2000) as Sally Hemings and also as Sister Anderson in the remake version of the cult classic original film Sparkle (2012). Her other films include Alex Cross; and The Purge: Anarchy. Carmen Ejogo  has appeared as civil rights activist Coretta Scott King in two films: Boycott (2001) and Selma (2014). While preparing for the role in Boycott, she met with King and was given King’s blessing for her portrayal.
