Pastor Rod Parsley was born January 13th 1957 in Cleveland, Ohio, and was raised primarily in the Columbus area.. He is a prominent American Christian minister, author, television host and evangelist. He is senior pastor of World Harvest Church, a large Pentecostal church in Columbus, Ohio and founder and president of The Center for Moral Clarity, a Christian grassroots advocacy organization. He is also founder of Breakthrough (a media ministry), the Bridge of Hope missions organization, Valor Christian College, Harvest Preparatory School, World Harvest Ministerial Alliance, Metro Harvest Church (an inner-city and prison outreach), Latin Harvest Church (a Spanish-language church in Columbus) and The Women’s Clinic of Columbus. His parents grew up in eastern Kentucky, and traveled there often to visit relatives when Pastor Rod Parsley was a young boy. He still speaks with a marked Kentucky accent. Pastor Rod Parsley was raised as a Free Will Baptist, and had a born-again experience at Christian Center Church in Gahanna, Ohio, in the 1970s. After high school, he worked in real estate and at a pet-food factory before enrolling at Circleville Bible College (now Ohio Christian University). Pastor Rod Parsley came under the influence of Lester Sumrall, an Indiana-based evangelist, missionary and broadcaster, as a young pastor. Sumrall became Parsley’s spiritual mentor, and the two traveled together often. He is married to Joni Parsley. They have a son, Austin, and a daughter, Ashton, both young adults. They live in Pickerington, a wealthy suburb of Columbus. Pastor Rod Parsley holds a Bachelor of Arts in Ministry from Ohio Christian University, a Doctor of Divinity (honorary) from Indiana Christian University and a Doctor of Humanities (honorary) from Liberty University. He has been a guest on CNN’s Larry King Live, and airs daily on the Daystar TV Network and the Trinity Broadcasting Network.
Vince McMahon or Vincent Mcmahon is an American professional wrestling promoter, announcer, commentator, film producer, actor and occasional professional wrestler. Vince McMahon was born on August 24, 1945 in Pinehurst, North Carolina. McMahon’s father, Vincent James McMahon, had left the family while Vince McMahon was still a baby. Vince McMahon did not meet his father until age 12. Vince McMahon spent the majority of his childhood living with his mother and a string of stepfathers. Vince McMahon is the Chairman and CEO of Stamford, Connecticut-based professional wrestling promotion World Wrestling Entertainment (branded as WWE). Upon acquiring World Championship Wrestling (WCW) and Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW), McMahon’s WWE became the sole remaining major American professional wrestling promotion (until the national expansion of Total Nonstop Action Wrestling and Ring of Honor). Vince McMahon plays a character known by the ring name Mr. McMahon, based on his real life persona. He is a two-time world champion, having won the WWF Championship and ECW World Championship. He was also the winner of the 1999 Royal Rumble. Vince McMahon is married to Linda McMahon, with whom he ran WWE from its establishment in 1980 until she resigned as the CEO in September 2009. He is known for his cocky and arrogant way he perceives himself as the owner of WWE during live broadcasts.
