Reggie Jackson was born Reginald Shon Jackson on April 16, 1990. He is an American professional basketball player for the Detroit Pistons of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played three seasons for the Boston College Eagles men’s basketball team before declaring for the 2011 NBA draft where he was drafted 24th overall by the Oklahoma City Thunder. Reggie Jackson was born in Pordenone, in northeast Italy, to American parents. Reggie Jackson‘s father, Saul, served at Aviano Air Base. The Jacksons later moved to England before returning to the United States when Jackson was five. The family lived in North Dakota for a year before moving to Georgia and Florida before settling in Colorado Springs, Colorado when Reggie Jackson was in sixth grade. He graduated from General William J. Palmer High School in Colorado Springs in 2008, and won the 2007–08 Gatorade Colorado Boys’ Basketball Player of the Year. In April 2008, Jackson officially declared for U.S citizenship. Considered a three-star recruit by Rivals.com, Reggie Jackson was listed as the No. 29 shooting guard and the No. 115 player in the nation in 2008. While in the NBA Reggie Jackson left the OKC Thunder to play with the Detroit Pistons where he excelled as a guard becoming one of the best point guards in the league for his ball handling, crossovers and shooting ability.
Bobby Shmurda was born Ackquille Jean Pollard on August 4, 1994 he is an American rapper from Brooklyn, New York, signed to Epic Records. He is best known for his song “Hot Nigga”, (released in July 2014) a song that debuted the “Shmoney dance,” which went viral after the release of the music video. This song peaked at 6 on the Billboard Hot 100, with the song being remixed and performed by numerous other artists including Lil’ Kim, French Montana, Juicy J, and Gunplay. On December 17, 2014, New York City Police arrested Pollard and charged him with conspiracy to commit murder, weapons possession, and reckless endangerment. After pleading not guilty, he failed to post bond and has been incarcerated since awaiting trial. Bobby Shmurda was born in Florida and is the youngest of two sons born to a Jamaican father and a Trinidad and Tobago mother. Shortly after birth he moved to Brooklyn, New York after his father was incarcerated, living in East Flatbush. Bobby Shmurda also had run-ins with the law while living in Brooklyn, including spending 15 months in detention for probation violation as well as being arrested on a gun charge that was later dropped. Bobby Shmurda is affiliated with GS9 Epic Records and is close friends with his label mate Rowdy Rebel who was also arrested with Bobby Shmurda.
